The built-in browser_automation tool — which let Compound systems launch and control browsers server-side — has been retired and is no longer available. Requests that include browser_automation in compound_custom.tools.enabled_tools are still accepted for backward compatibility but have no effect.

What to use instead

• Web research within Compound: enable the web_search and visit_website built-in tools to search the web and read specific pages in a single API call.
• Full browser automation: use the standalone Anchor Browser integration, which drives complete browser sessions using your own Anchor Browser account together with Groq inference.
